When Alicia (pronounced Alithia in Castilian) is not out spying on our feathered friends she is helping to promote the health of some of our most ill patients. Alicia is originally from Madrid Spain and moved to Phoenix in the early nineties. She was the Chief Oncology Nurse at Sonora Veterinary Specialists for over 20 years. When we heard she was leaving that post we quickly asked her to become our overnight technician. Alicia’s compassion and competence are legendary. Her tendency to speak to the patients in Spanish has earned her the nickname “La Guapa”.
