A physician is obligated to consider more than a diseased organ, more even than the whole man - he must view the man in his world.
— Harvey Cushing

The father of modern neurosurgery did not have access to the imaging that we have today.  What he did have was a concept of treating the patient as a whole. Although we have the benefit of remarkable technology today; we have much to learn from the Masters. We strive to implement technology as necessary to further the lofty ideals set by our forebearers.

Since returning to the Valley in 1999 Dr. Soderstrom has been performing MRI, CT and other advanced imaging. Fostering unique relationships has allowed us to have access to the latest MRI and CT scanners available. Years of experience means that we can perform these procedures efficiently and safely. State of the art equipment leads to shorter scan times and collaborative efforts improve diagnostic capability. From brains and spines to PET scanning for select patients we have the resources and the experience to meet our patient's needs.
